Pallas-Athene

Stories, myths and legends are my "thing". And symbolism, which is very much present in myths and legends, and in many stories.

This representation is one way of looking at Pallas-Athene, the daughter of Zeus the God of thunder. Athene was a warrior, born as a fully grown woman from Zeus's head. Some stories say that Zeus had a headache which stopped when Athene jumped out of his head, dressed in full armor. Pallas is the prefix of Athene the Goddess of Athens, who defended culture, arts and craftsmen etc. For me Pallas-Athene is the Woman the warrior Athene, daddy's girl, was never allowed to be. The crazy gods of Olympos! I wonder when Hollywood will make family drama of these guys
